Intake Associates are placement students and volunteers who work collaboratively to assist new and current clients with any booking and general inquiries. Intake associates are responsible for responding to phone calls and emails in a timely and empathetic manner, completing the intake form with new clients, attending meetings with all staff members, keeping the office tidy, and ensuring that clients have a warm and welcoming environment to wait in prior to their sessions. What are your career goals? I want to be a clinician with a diverse approach and provide evidence-based psychotherapy.

Are you a placement student or a volunteer?
I am a placement student. I am currently in my fourth year as a Psychology undergraduate at University of Toronto. I hope to continue working with PPTC as I move forward with my studies.
What are your career goals?
I want to continue my education in a counselling graduate program. Ultimately, my goal is becoming a registered psychotherapist.

I am a volunteer. I am currently in my final semester as a Honours Psychology student at the University of Waterloo with a minor in HRM. I plan on continuing as an intake associate at PPTC as I pursue graduate studies.
What are your career goals?
I plan on pursuing a Masters and Ph.D. in Counselling and Clinical Psychology and to become a clinical psychologist or registered psychotherapist.
