Sally Ghazal

MA, RP, Psychotherapist

Sally is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).  She obtained her masters degree in Clinical Psychology form University of Indianapolis USA.  Sally has worked in private practices in the Middle East since 2005, and in Canada since 2015.  She works with a range of clients from different backgrounds.  Majority of her work is with adults and young adults who are dealing with anxiety, phobia, depression, stress and trauma. Sally also works with parents who need assistance with behavioural modification techniques.


In her sessions, Sally uses a variety of techniques which are client focused and help the client achieve the goals they set for themselves. These include Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy which Sally has had extensive training. 


In the past two years, Sally has worked mainly with refugees who have experienced trauma and she received training on narrative exposure therapy to use as a treatment modality for such cases


Sally believes in empowering clients by allowing them to set their goals, explore their options and use coping techniques, while providing a supportive and comfortable environment for them to do so.


Sally speaks Arabic and is comfortable working with clients from various backgrounds.
