Kiran holds a Master of Clinical Psychology, and Postgraduate certifications in Clinical Assessments and Cognitive Behavior Therapy. She is a member in good standing with College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario CRPO and associated with Ontario Association of Mental Health Consultants, Counselors, Psychotherapists and Psychometrician OACCPP; and Canadian Association for Play Therapy CAPT.
She works with adults who are struggling to cope with stressful life experiences and distressing emotions. She is particularly interested in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, fear, worry, self-esteem issues, life transitions or crises, parenting issues, grief and loss, trauma, abuse, stress and depression.
From the last two years, she is an active learner with CAMH under Gambling, Gaming & Technology Use evidence-informed practice initiative and she is passionate to help people with Problem Gambling and other addictions.
Kiran has 12 years of experience working as a psychotherapist in community mental health centres, in school settings, hospital settings, and in private practice. She holds solid background providing services in Region of Peel serving the needs of individuals and families dealing with various challenges.
She operates from a client-centred approach, tailoring the therapy to the individual needs of each client and focusing on their strengths. She incorporates a variety of treatment approaches, such as cognitive-behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, sand play and mindfulness.

She is fluent in English, Punjabi, Urdu and Hindi.
Besides her private practice, she works as a Mental Health Crisis Intervention Counsellor in Mississauga.
