Jenet is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
She completed her M. Ed internship in Counselling Psychology (Counselling and Psychotherapy) from the University of Toronto at Peel Psychology & Therapy Centre.
Jenet obtained her B.A. (Hons) in Psychology from Queen’s University, M. A in Psychology from Wilfrid Laurier University, and B. Ed from the University of Toronto.
For over 25 years Jenet has provided support to youth, adults and families around issues involving school engagement issues, social and family relationships, anxiety, depression, and addictions.
Jenet is also interested in supporting individuals with life cycle transition challenges, including marriage, divorce, work/life balance, retirement, empty-nest, ageing parents and grief, including pet bereavement.
Jenet facilitates Mindfulness Coping Skills Groups for children and adolescents at our clinic.
Jenet uses a person-centred focus in counselling and draws from CBT, Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing therapeutic techniques.
