Farwa is a graduate student who is completing her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. She views life through a respect-focused and social justice lens, recognizing the importance of the collective and relational aspects of human life. Supporting with empathy and compassion are core values that guide her interactions.
Having worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds and within various settings such as schools, hospitals, and community agencies, Farwa believes that effective healing happens through taking a person-centered approach. As she continues to expand on her knowledge of various modalities, she aims to utilize an integrative model, working within an overall humanistic and strengths-based approach, to collaboratively work with each individual to meet their unique needs.
Farwa is able to provide service in English, Urdu, Hindi, and has basic understanding of Turkish and Farsi/Persian.
